W33DEV is the creative alias of Alex, a 23-year-old solo developer, author, and founder of the indie studio W33Play Studios. As a one-man team, he is building a growing, interconnected crossmedia universe known as the W33Play Universe, which unites his games, books, software, and community platform into a singular creative vision.
Among his core projects are a card-based board game (developed in GMS2, Construct 3, and GDevelop 5), the narrative-driven 2D episodic game Westgrove (inspired by Life Is Strange), and two Minecraft servers: the RPG server “Elarion”, based on his original fantasy trilogy, and the modern W33City server, featuring an advanced economy system and custom content. He is also developing W33Book, an e-book reader software designed to deliver immersive reading experiences fully integrated into his creative ecosystem.
As an author, Alex has written two original book series. His fantasy trilogy The Shadows of Elarion lies at the heart of his game and lore universe, seamlessly blending into the RPG server and other projects. In parallel, his upcoming trilogy Westgrove tells the emotional story of an 18-year-old boy who, living with his mother, younger sister, and older brother in the Westgrove neighborhood, is drawn into a life of crime through his brother’s influence. In a clever meta-twist, The Shadows of Elarion also exists as a book series within the world of Westgrove, blurring the lines between fiction and reality.
With XerraGamesHub, Alex has also created a social community platform where users can open shops, share projects, and connect with others. Recurring mascots like Alex33 and W33by visually represent his identity and bring charm and consistency to his universe across games and media.
Ultimately, Alex’s long-term vision is to unite all of these experiences into one cohesive digital multiverse — the W33Play Universe, where games, stories, tools, and player interactions blend into an immersive and creative whole.

I’m W33DEV, an independent creative developer passionate about building futuristic tools, interfaces, and digital experiences. I combine design, code, and storytelling to create web-based systems, archive platforms, and utilities that are fast, visual, and entirely client-side.
Driven by curiosity and a love for detail, I develop everything from JSON editors and UI generators to lore-rich fantasy projects and game mechanics—always with a holographic touch.
